Artist Bio:  Sheryl Pockrose has been singing and performing music in the Cincinnati area for many years, with groups as diverse as the Queen City Balladeers, Cincinnati Camerata, and National Pastoral Musicians. Her solo act as the “Ukulele Lady of Cincinnati” includes popular tunes that everyone can enjoy.
Program Description:  Sing-alongs, Broadway selections, folk songs, and classic easy listening and country songs from the 1940s-1970s provide a little bit a something for everyone. If requested in advance, the program can include hymns and gospel songs, songs for a particular holiday, or songs geared to the theme of your party or gathering.  The ukulele is fun for all audiences, and would be especially appropriate for a luau or summer theme.
Offerings:
1) General Oldies  – Program as described above.
2)Christmas in July – Or any time of year — a selection of familiar Advent and Christmas hymns, with all invited to sing along.
3) Popular Upbeat   – Songs to lift your spirits from the 1970’s and more recent.
