Jim Spaeth – Travel Presentations

Speaker

Artist Bio: Over the span of four decades, Jim worked for two major airlines (TWA and Delta). Thanks to the advent of the digital camera ¾ and Jim’s mastery of PowerPoint, he’s been able to capture and display numerous scenes from his domestic and worldwide travels. Besides traveling, Jim enjoys hiking with his wife in Tri-state parks. He also enjoys writing. In 2017 Jim finished writing his memoir which mostly covered his years with TWA during the Golden Age of Air Travel.
Program Description: Jim narrates his travel adventures as the attendees observe the scenes. Some scenes are unusual (airliners landing across the main road in Gibraltar). Some are humorous (a mime teasing Jim’s wife in a Florentine square). Some are profound (a funeral procession following a coffin-laden pickup truck in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua).
