Artist Bio:
Alex Bronston is a versatile and accomplished woodwind instrumentalist, specializing in saxophone, clarinet, flute, and oboe performance. With a rich background in music, Alex currently performs with several groups, including Procter & Gamble’s Big Band, the African Ancestry Leadership Network Band, and Mr. Whipple’s Funk Machine and His Unstoppable Horns. Additionally, he is a member of the Wyoming Winds. His previous experiences include performing with the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Miami University Men’s Glee Club. Alex’s passion for music is matched by his dedication to bringing joy and entertainment to diverse audiences. He aims to enrich the lives of listeners with dynamic and fun performances. Outside of music, Alex enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, live music, and his cats. He is also a scientist by day, balancing his professional and creative pursuits with enthusiasm and skill.
Program Description:
This program will feature a mix of big band classics, jazz standards, and a variety of timeless hits. Audiences can look forward to enjoying repertoire from artists such as Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, John Coltrane, Frank Sinatra, and Miles Davis. Other tunes will include vibrant renditions of funk and disco favorites from ABBA, Chaka Khan and Earth, Wind, and Fire. The program is designed to evoke nostalgia and joy, encouraging residents to reminisce and even sing and dance along to the lively tunes.
Equipment Needs:I do not require any addition equipment currently. Should my needs change, I will communicate this with the facility/coordinator.

Availability/Schedule:
My availability is as follows: Tuesday through Friday after 5 pm, Saturdays and Sundays any time
(Please note that there are a few exceptions, such as a monthly Sunday rehearsal for the P&G Big Band. Other rehearsal/performance conflicts will be communicated when they arise).
