Bio: Bridge Street Trio is a Cincinnati based group of seasoned musicians who have been performing together for several years. Drummer Rick Boyer plays percussion and adds sounds from mellow to rowdy. His professional career has included everything from disco, country, jazz, pop and rock ‘n roll. Guitarist and vocalist Mike Biere started playing in a folk group in high school called the Coachmen in the 60’s. One of his fondest memories is participating in Jorma Kaukonen’s (Jefferson Airplane’s guitarist) “Fur Peace Ranch Guitar Camp” where he developed his excellent guitar skills. He plays 6 string and 12 string guitars and occasionally harmonica. Keyboard player Tom Slager began his rock ‘n roll music career in the late 1960’s playing in several bands in Wisconsin, where his first band won the Battle of the Bands in 1967 and went on to be seventh in the statewide competition. Tom took a break from music to pursue his working career and to raise his family. He has been back on the music scene in Cincinnati in several local cover bands.
