Artist Bio:
The Elder High School Steelband has been entertaining crowds around the Cincinnati area since 1996. Each year the Elder students prepare and present concerts and educational programs for the Harvest Home Festival, retirements communities, elementary schools, and church festivals throughout the city. We look forward to being a part of your next event.
Program Description:
The Elder Steelband play in the style of traditional island music and can serve as background music for your event, present a full concert for your audience, or give a presentation that features a lot of music interspersed with the history of our unique instruments, and how they are constructed. The ensemble is large, but can be reduced to fit in smaller spaces.
