Don Maloney – Tribute to Bing Crosby

Artist Bio:  Don Maloney, a native of San Francisco, has taught psychology, philosophy and religion at a number of Universities in the U.S. and overseas, and at present teaches part-time at Xavier University.  He has also, for a number of years, presented a “Tribute to Bing Crosby” program to various senior groups.  As a graduate of Bing’s “Alma Mater,” Gonzaga University, Don has kept alive the musical heritage of one of the 20th century greatest singers, Bing Crosby.
Program Description:  Don Maloney invites us to take a musical journey down memory lane,  hearing and singing along to, some of Bing Crosby’s most well known songs, from the 1920’s through the 1940’s.  Don not only sings these songs but comments on Bing’s life and the background of the records he made.

Don’s accompanist is Andrew Haug, a recent graduate of the Cincinnati School of Music, and a professional musician.
Equipment needs: A piano and a microphone.
