Artist Bio: Rob Lowe began playing the piano at age 7 and was singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” for the Cincinnati Reds at Crosley Field by the age of 8. In junior high, while touring with trumpeter great Maynard Ferguson, Lowe had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to play with such greats as The Duke Ellington Big Band, Wild Bill Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and Dave Brubeck. Rob also toured the United States singing and playing in a variety of venues. A few of Rob’s favorite artists are: Rodgers and Hammerstein, Mel Torme, Jack Jones, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, and Barry Manilow. Rob’s genre of music would best be described as Standards, Cabaret, Jazz and classic Broadway show tunes.
